On Saturday, August 28, 2021, God dispatched an angel to carry Sierra home at the age of 27. She was a graduate of Baker High School and a homemaker. Her personality was such that she never met a stranger and to know her was to love her. Sierra was adored by her daughter, family and friends and she spent her life devoted to her family and the needs of others. Although her life was short, God’s purpose was fulfilled and he called her home.
Sierra leaves to cherish memories a loving mother, Dionne Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; Father, Robert K. Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA; her daughter, Ma’Kaylia Williams; Grandmothers, Loretha Thomas and Sharon Lewis; Aunts, Donyella Williams, Dedra Williams, Dawn Williams, Elise Williams, and Tomeka Stines; Uncles, Jimmie Williams and Ontario Lewis; Sisters Aleigha Williams, Tatyana Williams, Katina Veals and Kila Lewis; Brothers, Jaheim Weatherspoon, Robert Lewis II, Kelvonte Veals and Delvonte Veals; and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is proceeded in death by her grandmothers Barbara Jean Taylor Williams and Annie Stines, grandfather, Clevon Brooks; Great grandmothers, Ella Brooks and Annie Stein, and cousin Zachirria Kitchen.
Services will be Saturday, September 11th at 12pm in the Chapel at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Internment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
