A retired auditor with the LSU agricultural and science department, she died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 92, a resident of Greenwell Springs and a native of Baton Rouge. Survived by a nephew, Ray Michelli and his wife, Dora; great-nieces, Tina Baker, Melissa Zachary, Brandi Michelli and Ashley Michelli; great-great-nieces, Jade Shaffer and Hannah Baker; and great-great-nephew, Trace Anthony Baker. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Vita Rizzuto Maniscalco; and six brothers and sisters. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 1, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Moroney. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.
