Ronnie Evans

Ronnie Evans, born March 9, 1937 age 85, passed away on April 20, 2022. Ronnie was born in Winnsboro, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science from LSU. He served in the Army from 1960-1962. Ronnie worked at Exxon for 32 years and retired on July 17th, 1992 and worked as an offsite system specialist when he retired. Ronnie enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with his grandkids. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Webb Evans; daughters, Kathleen Meskauskis (Brian), Jeannine Valdivia (David); brother, Louis Webb III (Teresa); grandchildren, Nicolas and Brooklyn; numerous nieces and nephews, Brent and Holly Webb, Bradon, Cody, and Natalie Webb, Julie and Brandon Beaumont, Audry Beaumont. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eunice Evans; brother, Joe Evans; in-laws, Dr. and Mrs. Louis Webb, Jr. Pallbearers will be: grandson-Nicolas Postiglione, brother-in-law-Louis Webb III, Great Nephew-Brandon Webb, Nephew-Brent Webb, Son-in-law-Brian Meskauskis, special friend-Steve Meskauskis. Honorary Pallbearer and best friend-Larry Cole. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful people at Brookdale Assisted Living, especially: Bridget, Maureen, Roz, as well as Brookdale Hospice: Jennifer, Kyleigh, and Clarissa. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
