Robert John Potee Anderson

A devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and good friend to many, Robert John "Jack" Anderson departed this world and entered his eternal heavenly home, Monday, August 23, 2021. He was 95, a native of Head of Island, and resident of Baton Rouge. Jack served his country courageously in World War II and in the Korean Conflict. He spent most of his career in the office products industry. Jack was a member of First Presbyterian Church but frequently worshipped with his family at Faith Presbyterian Church. Due to COVID-19, memorial arrangements will consist of a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 9:00 am, conducted by the Rev. Stephen Wallace. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Edna D. Anderson, brother, James E. Anderson and sister, Betty A. Bourgeois. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Peggy F. Anderson; son and daughter in law John M. "Buddy" Anderson and Cheryl B. Anderson; Grandchildren, Nichole C. Anderson; Stephen M Anderson and granddaughter in law Ashley M Anderson; great grandson Lincoln M. Anderson and numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
