Robert F. Grace of Baton Rouge, La. passed away on the evening of May 30, 2024. He was born in New Orleans on March 4, 1934 to late parents Robert F. Grace, Sr. and Dorothy Peroyea. Bob graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in History and Accounting. After graduating he proudly joined the United States Navy. After his service time he met his incredible wife Marilyn Dupont. They moved to Baton Rouge to start a family. Bob became senior vice president of Louisiana Companies where he worked for over 30 years and retired in 2003. Bob and Marilyn were avid golfers and traveled to many beautiful golf courses around the world. Bob is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 59 years, his three sons, Stephen, Thomas (Lisa), and Bryan (Elizabeth), and his five grandchildren who brought him years of happiness, Ira Grace, Seth Grace, Sienna Grace, Avery Grace, Piper Grace, and the late Autumn Grace. The family is grateful for the care he received at The Pearl at Jamestown and Clarity Hospice. He will always be remembered as a great man, and he will truly be missed. (And even though his wife scored more holes in one, he was still a pretty good golfer.)
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA. 70815 on Wednesday, June 5th from 12 pm until 2 pm. Burial will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Garden.
