Richard John Bordelon

Richard John Bordelon, native of Bordelonville, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 78. He was a carpenter and builder by trade and enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and catering. Richard was a member of the National Rifle Association and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ena Mae Bordelon; three children, Barry Bordelon (Terry), Reggie Bordelon (Greta), and Boni Pater (Troy); grandchildren, Michael Bordelon, Beau Bordelon, Londyn Patty, Jena Bordelon, Lance Patty, Logan Patty, Brandon Caldwell, and Brock Caldwell; great grandchildren, Odin Bordelon, Rune Bordelon, and Cole Windham. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Bordelon, Jr and Lela Desselle Bordelon; and his sister, Ruth Ann Bordelon.

A memorial gathering will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 8 am until memorial service at 10 am. Inurnment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
