Ralph F. Miller Jr. “Fred”, a native of Denham Springs and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on February 18, 2018, at his home surrounded by the members of his family that have fought with him through his final battle. Fred was a retired laboratory supervisor for DSM Copolymer. He loved RV’ing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph F Miller Sr. and Hazelle Milburn, his stepfather Rufus Milburn, daughter Lori Brashier, granddaughter Cassi L. Brashier. Fred is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen (Kathy), his daughters Sheri King and husband Bradley, Shannon Culotta and husband Tommy, sister Frieda Guy, brother Ernie Miller, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry Sullivan, Jerry Thompson, Liddell Newsham and grandsons Cayman Pipes, Duncan Lowrey, Logan Pipes. The family wishes to thank The Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially his nurse Julie for her compassionate, gentle care. Fred’s wonderful care givers, Linda Williams and Pat Young, and dear friends Jerry and Lois Thompson for their constant support to the family during this difficult time. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 5 pm-9 pm, and Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 10 am until funeral services at noon. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
