Mary Ann Kramer Ross, age 86, a native of Chicago, IL and a resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 9, 2013. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Known for her love of crafts, Mary and her husband Lynn owned and operated Country Crafts by Mary. She was a devout member of St Jean Vianney Catholic Church and a faithful Chicago Cubs fan. Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years Lynn J Ross, Sr; sons, Lynn “Lucky” J Ross, Jr and wife Juanita Aymond Ross, David A Ross and wife Dianne Whittington Ross, and Earl A Ross; daughters, Shirley Ross Marsden and husband Robert “Bob” Marsden, and Mary Lynne Ross Stowell and husband Ralph Stowell; grandchildren, Melanie Ross Alexander, Anita Ross Robert, Lynn J Ross, III, Jamie Ross Simmons, Katie Ross Richardson, Bette-Brooke Ross, Brett Ross, Daisy Ellisor Bourassa, Meshell Durden, Madelon Stowell, and LCpl Joseph Ross Stowell; great grandchildren, Emily Alexander, Ross Alexander, Olivia Alexander, Lyndsey Quirk, Abigail Quirk, Brenna Robert, Brooke Robert, Victoria Ross, Caleb Ross, Cade Ross, Anne-Marie Ross, and Emma Durden; sisters, Lucille Kramer Matyas, Betty Kramer Barrett, and Carol Kramer Balfe; and sister in law Gloria Kramer. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Earle and Josephine Kramer; brothers, Earle A Kramer, Jr and Carl “Midge” Kramer; and sisters, Anna Mae Kramer Syputa and Jeannie Kramer Toppel. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm and continuing on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church from 10am until mass at 11am.
