“Having a place to go is a home. Having someone to love is a family. Having both is a blessing. My family is my life, and everything else comes second as far as what’s important to me.” Mrs. Mary Alice Harris passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 63. Mrs. Harris was a native of Shelby, Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Ike Harris; daughters, Rochelle Fleming (husband Paul Fleming), Destiny Allen; siblings, Billy Glyn Tesch and Robert (Bubba) Tesch and wife (Margie.) She was a “Mimi” to five grandchildren who were the light of her life; Brooke Goff, Jillian Fleming, Savannah Fleming, Taron Allen, and Branae Allen and best friend, Janice Mullens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Louise Tesch; brothers BillBo Tesch, David Daryl Tesch and sister CarlNell Tesch. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022 (3pm-7pm) and Saturday, March 5, 2022 (11am-1pm) with the service beginning at 1pm, all at Faith Worship Center (12219 Greenwell Springs, Baton Rouge, LA 70814.) Pastor Rick Sullivan will officiate the service. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
