Mary Theresa Baker

Mary Theresa Baker, age 75, died at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on December 11, 2024. She was born May 31, 1949, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of Mary Cleo Baker and Edward George Baker Sr.

She graduated from Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1968. Following graduation, she married Curtis Rousselle in 1969.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Karl Baker, her brother. Surviving are her children, James J. Rousselle (Rhonda Rousselle), Katherine “Kathie” H. (Rousselle) Cruse (Johnny Cruse), David B. Rousselle; granddaughters, Faith Mike'l (Rousselle) Bush (Elisha "Eli" Bush) and Haylie Renae Cruse; great-grandson, Christopher "Odin" Bush; siblings, Edward Baker Jr (Marilyn), Joseph Baker (Ginny), Kenneth Baker (Norma), Michael Baker (Mona), Timothy Baker (Judy), Katherine Delfino, Karen Corvin (Jim), Francis Baker (Melanie) and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. A final resting place will occur at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.
