Malcolm ‘Mac’ Wall, Jr. passed away peacefully at his Baton Rouge home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Malcolm was born to Malcolm E. Wall, Sr. and Annie Mae Wall on July 19, 1948, in Baton Rouge, LA. He graduated from Baton Rouge High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He spent many years in sales working within the industrial and electrical supply industry in Baton Rouge. Malcolm was married for 22 years to Denise Dufour Wall, who lovingly took care of him in their time together and particularly during his final illness. Malcolm is survived by his wife; son, Malcolm E. ‘Mackie’ Wall, III (Anna); grandchildren, Jack, Ella, Wyatt, and Lane Wall; brother, Jerry Wall; stepchildren, Corey Arnold (Monika), and Ashley Arnold (fiancé, Garrett Willms); step grandson, Camden Arnold; and beloved fur babies, Scruffy and Bennett. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa R. ‘Missy’ Wall; and his parents. A Celebration of Life will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 12pm to 2pm. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Bryan Bienvenu, the staff at Mary Bird Perkins for their year of care, and to the professionals at Audubon Hospice for providing comfort as his fight came to a close.
