Mac Neil McNeill

Born March 8, 1962, in Houston Texas. Raised in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Graduated Belair High School in 1980.

He is preceded in death by his father James McNeill, mother Marie McNeill, and brother Randy Weishar.

He leaves behind his wife Michelle(Vidrine) McNeill of 26 years, daughters Brittany Grayson, Brooke (Jeremy) Sandlin, sons Matthew (Madison) Morrow and Logan (Brook) Morrow, and bonus children Kyle and Amanda Toups.10 grandchildren Nathan, Sophia, Anthony, Jade, Malachai, James, Ellie, Scarlet, Asher, and Emily.

Brother James (Cathy) McNeill, Uncle Tommy and Aunt Daphne Robinson and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mac was such a loving and gracious person. He loved talking about and sharing his faith, he never met a stranger and loved his sports, especially LSU.

No matter what was going on in his life he always found the bright spot and always was the first to say God will make it turn out alright.

His wife, children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He would look forward to the family trip every year when he could see all of his children and grandchildren together.

Camping became a favorite pastime over the years and loved when the grandkids wanted to come on the camping trips in his new camper.

His faith grew so much when he moved to Ethel and became involved in Saving Grace Community Church. He was so happy to help out where he could, whether it be reading scripture or praying for the hurt and sick. He loved his church family and the fifth Sunday when we would gather together and share a meal.

The family would like to thank the Robinson and Weishar cousins, the Hicks family and Clarity Hospice for all of their support through this hard time.

Services will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge on December 21, 2024 with Visitation 9:00-10, and Service at 10:00. A graveside service will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
