Lisa Giles Brown

Lisa Elaine Giles Brown, native of Franklin, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away on February 22, 2014 at the age of 41. Lisa was a graduate of Thibodeaux High School Class of 1990 where she was an honor student, award winning 4-H participant, Girl Scout cadet, a member of ROTC. She attended Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, LA. She worked at Convergys and Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Lisa was an amazing daughter, sister, devoted wife, and loving mother who is survived by her husband Joe W. Brown, Jr.; two daughters, Kiersten Elizabeth Brown and Isabella Catherine Brown; one son, Joe W. Brown III of Baton Rouge, LA.; mother, Virginia Elizabeth Mallette and Dallas L. Baker of Houston, TX.; father, Alan A. Giles and his wife, Teresa L. Giles of Houston, TX.; two sisters, Amy Lynn Giles Arceneaux of Lafayette, LA. and Lacy Ann Giles Horgan of Montgomery, TX.; nephews, Jacob Lennon Arceneaux of Lafayette, LA. and Landon Giles Horgan; niece, Rylan Elizabeth Horgan of Montgomery, TX. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Catherine Brown; maternal grandparents, Lorena Hester Hufft, George Troy Mallet, Sr. and Maye Sones Mallett; paternal grandparents, Leslie Lee Giles and Nona Cope Giles; brother-in-law, Warren Brown; and first cousin, Jason Mallett.
