Landry Philip Dennis passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on the evening of January 24, 2024. After battling a congenital heart defect for 15 days, he passed gracefully into the arms of Jesus.
Landry is the son of Christian and Alayna Dennis of Hammond, LA, and is survived by his two sisters, Lakelyn and Amelia. His paternal grandparents are Russell and Jeanne Dennis, and his maternal grandmother is Kelly Lewis. As well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; his godparents Brandon Thames and Emalee Foret; and his great grandmother's Anne Dennis and Diane Hanks.
During his short time with us, Landry enjoyed every moment with his family and especially loved being held in the loving embrace of his parents. He was a true blessing to the entire family, teaching us all what pure love and peace looks like. Landry was loved unconditionally by all who met him, and he will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Landry will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, followed by Mass at 11:00 am and interment (stgabrielcatholicchurch.com).
