Kenneth J. Johnson of Central passed away on December 8. He was born January 28, 1943. He took great pride in everything he did. He enjoyed yard work and planting a small garden. Kenneth was a longtime employee of Stanley Security and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He is survived by his son, Mark, and his wife, Judy; daughter, Angella Pourciau and her husband Marty; grandchildren, Meredith Minor, Chad (Iris) Pourciau, Megan Johnson, and Natalie (Nahin) Andrade; great grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella and Lucas Pourciau, Mollie Minor, and Maverick Andrade; brothers, Robert and Charles Johnson; and sister, Linda Morgan. Preceded in death by his wife, Cecile; parents, James and Ann Johnson; brothers, Lawrence, Marvin, Michael, and Nolan, who passed away on Dec. 7th; sisters, Peggy Bordelon and Martha Courville; in-laws, Wildon and Helen Mayeux; and grandson-in-law, Kevin Minor. A very special thanks to his caretaker, Nancy Vandiver, for all of the love over the past few years. A visitation for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, December 12, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church at 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
