Jeffrey David Hahn was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on February 25, 1970, to Linda L. and Bernard E. Hahn. At 4 years old, his family relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where Jeff remained until his passing on April 3, 2024. He graduated from Belaire High School in 1989 and went on to become a professional and knowledgeable automotive technician, working for numerous dealerships for over 25 years. Jeff enjoyed cooking, hunting, and fishing with his friends and family, and he was a perfectionist in everything he did. At the same time, he was a very giving person and was always there to help family and friends in need. When his father passed away, Jeff moved back home so his mother wouldn’t be alone. Other than his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Adam and Bessie McGee and Agnes and Harry Hahn. Jeff is survived by his mother, Linda L. Hahn; brothers, Bernie B. Hahn (Donna Sprunk) and Steven T. Hahn (Shannon Merritt); niece, Katelyn Richardson (Kiyoshi); nephew, Caylib Hahn; great nephews, Kavyx and Kovyn Richardson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation for Jeff will be held on Saturday, April 6, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Blvd) from 5 – 9 pm. On Tuesday, April 9th, another visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home in Oakdale, LA, at 11 am, until Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oakdale at noon, conducted by Rev. Vijaya Peddoju, HGN. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery.
