James Harlan “Beau” Ogden, III, 62 passed away January 5, 2022, at his home in Sulphur, LA. Born in Baton Rouge, LA, September 10, 1959. Beau began his career in the Petro-Chemical industry as a pipefitter and eventually became a Project Manager/Scheduler. He has worked in several states and plants throughout his career and was currently working as a Senior Scheduler at Hargrove Engineers and Constructors. Beau never met a stranger, he had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his pranks, and for always putting a smile on people’s faces. He was an avid LSU fan who enjoyed sports, coaching his nephews, golf, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Beau is survived by his mother, Ruby Borak; siblings Judy Fletcher, Kevin Ogden and Lisa Ardeneaux, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James Harlan Ogden, Jr. Beau will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life Memorial for Beau will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Visitation beginning at 2:00 pm with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm. A private burial will be held at later date.
