Jacquelyn Marie Ricca

A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was 77 and retired from the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Jan. 5, from 11 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Bourgeois; nieces, Sammie Cockrell and husband Chuck, and Cecilia Richie; and nephews, Thomas Hirschey and wife Margaret, Patrick Bourgeois and wife Pam, Samuel Ricca, Howard Bourgeois and wife Carolyn, Michael Ricca, Richard Farrell, Timothy Ricca and wife Kathy, Ray Farrell and wife LuAnn, Peter Ricca and Scott Ricca and wife Allison. She is also survived by 15 great-nieces and great-nephews and 17 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Ricca; mother, Louise Ricca; brother, Gene Ricca; sister, Gussie Farrell; sister-in-law, Diane Ricca; brother-in-law, Lee Owen Bourgeois; and nephew, John W.
