He founded Manno Electric in 1972 and it was his passion and life’s work for 51 years. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Jack” by his Manno Electric family. He will be well remembered for his kind and giving heart. He was a devoted mentor with a willingness to help and listen. He was patient, loving and generous not just with his family but for anyone in need. He loved reading his Bible daily and sharing the Word of God. He was the facilitator of many Bible studies throughout the years. He enjoyed entertaining in his home, parties at Dayspring, his camp on the Tickfaw river, with family and friends, LSU football and most of all dancing with his favorite dance partner, Virginia.
