Harnie Kendrick passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at the age of 85, a native and resident of Pride, LA. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Cavaretta Kendrick, a daughter and her spouse Karen K. and Roy A. Logue, a son and his spouse Kerry T. and Cindy Bourke Kendrick, a sister Adine K. Devall, grandchildren and their spouses; Luke P. Kendrick, Kalyn M. Young and Chris, Faralyn L. King and John and Dustin A. Louge and Farin, great-grandchildren, Angel Kendrick, Thomas Young and Hannah Schlatre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomie and Nettie Aucoin Kendrick, a sister, Henrietta K. Cupit, two brothers-in-law, L.E. Devall and J.B. Cupit, and an infant brother. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. Sunday, June 16, 2013 starting at 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Monday, June 17, 2013 starting at 10:00am until services in funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Interment to follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke P. Kendrick, Dustin A. Logue, Tony Conrad with standby pallbearer Joey Conrad, June Aucoin, Rex Cupit and Chris Young. He was a graduate of Pride High School.
