She was born in McComb, Miss and was a long time resident of Baton Rouge. Jeanine is survived by her loving daughters, Debra O'Neill and Donna Edwards, grandson Chad (Kimberly) Minton and sister, Dolores (Raymond) Louvier and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 64 years, Edward Landry, Jr., her son, Russell Landry and her parents, Garland and Gladys Sauce Hutson. Jeanine had a beautiful soul and most loving, giving and generous heart. Her family and friends were of the utmost importance to her. She was a charter member of St. Louis King of France and then St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Louis Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, The B.R. Jaycee Janes Auxiliary and a volunteer cuddler at Woman's Hospital. She so loved babies! Recently she was a resident of St. James Place where she loved playing Bingo and Rummykube with her friends. Her regular Pokeno group friends were cherished. Jeanine was an avid LSU and Saints fan. She relished her many trips to Las Vegas with family and friends. She never lost her sense of style and would never leave her residence without lipstick and being dressed perfectly. Her wit and smile will be dearly missed. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers: Juanita, Lexi, Jackie, Maribel, Yvonne, Keyona, Wanda, and Toni. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Vincent de Paul or the BR Food Bank. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home on Florida Blvd. from 5 to 8pm on Thursday the 29th. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10am on Friday the 30th. Interment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park on Florida Blvd.
