Lee,  Evelyn WinsteadEvelyn was a homemaker, a native of Jackson and a resident of Baton Rouge. She died at 12:15pm Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the age of 84. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Saturday from 10:00am until the religious service at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Evelyn is survived by daughters: Pam Lee Hemingway&husband Robert of Hindsboro, Illinois  and Brenda Lee Crump&husband Dan of Burleson, Texas; sons: Larry Lee of Baton Rouge, and Tim Lee&wife Sharon of Montgomery, Alabama; sisters-in-law: Yvonne Sibley and Sara Winstead; grandchildren: Jonathan, Jared and Joel Hemingway; Jana, Kyle and Kara Crump; Prissy, Tabor and Sabrina Lee; 5 great-grandchildren; and her nephew: Keith Winstead. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband: Leopold Lee; parents: J.T.&Myrtle Winstead; brother: Jimmy Winstead. Pallbearers will be: Jonathan, Jared and Joel Hemingway, Kyle Crump, Tabor Lee, Keith Winstead, Robert Hemingway and Dan Crump. Honorary pallbearer is her special cousin: Jim Carruth. She was a member of Goodwood Blvd. Church of Christ; was a servant bringing food to those in need, whatever the occasion. She was well known for her wonderful cakes. She volunteered at The Guest House weekly in the Beauty Salon.
