"Errel Ann "Sugar" Talbot Bland passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 14, 2016 at the age of 93. She was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she loved her Angels and Magnolias. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Gladys and Jimmy Helouin, son and daughter-in-law; Matt R. III and Barbara Rook Bland, a brother; Harold J. Talbot Jr. and wife Sandra, 3 grandchildren; Tracy Hayes, Angie Lynn Bland and Jimmy Helouin and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; Matt R. Bland, Jr., parents; Harold Sr. and Pearl Talbot, a sister; Fay Talbot Chapman. Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, December 17, 2016 starting at 9:00am until services in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am with burial to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. A reception will be held at Rabenhorst East after the burial. Special thanks to the staff of Heritage Manor, and Landmark of Baton Rouge and the Life Source Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations per Mom's request may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
