Ena Lela Watson Gordon was born in Walker, LA, on February 24, 1915, and passed away on September 18, 2021, a resident of St. George, LA. She lived 106 beautiful years as a devoted Christian. Ena loved her church, First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, and LSU football. She is survived by her grandson, Brian Walter Gordon and his daughter, Mary-Elizabeth Gordon, of St. George; grandson, Hunter Lewis Gordon, his wife, Rachel, and their three children, William Welb (Billy), Georgia Genevieve, and Camille Marie, of Dallas; nephew, Jack Allen Watson; niece, LaNell Watson Boemia Seiler; and extended family, Tina LeBlanc Rance and Delaine LeBlanc Garner. Preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Barr Gordon of Gillsburg, MS; parents, Lewis Edwin Watson and Zillie Hatchell of Port Vincent; sons, Lynwood “Wayne” Gordon and Billy Lewis Gordon; sisters, Edna Elise Watson, Marie Edith Watson, and Cleo Watson; brothers, Glen Edward Watson, Collins Watson, and Louis Elgene Watson; and great grandson, Wyatt Henry Gordon. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Blvd) at 9 am until service at 10 am, conducted by Rev. Oren Conner and Larkin Harris. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian W. Gordon, Hunter L. Gordon, Dudley May, Dot Lawrence, Mary-Elizabeth Gordon, Billy Gordon, Mike Barr, and Larkin Harris. Special thanks to Mike and Dianne Barr, who were Ena’s guardians on earth.
