Ms. Effie Cambre a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 24, 2019 at the age of 101. She was born in Pine Prairie, LA on June 1, 1917.
Ms. Effie is survived by one sister, Luel Lodato and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by, first husband, Bill Nesbitt and second husband Bill Cambre; parents, Cornelious and Atile McGehee; and brother, Luther McGehee.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10:00am until funeral service time of 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Resthaven Cemetery 11814 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.
