Corley Price Senyard was born October 3, 1930, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and died October 8, 2022, in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, at the age of ninety-two. He was the only son of William Howard and Mary Francis (Price) Senyard, both deceased. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lois Hubbs Senyard.
Corley was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Jackson Senyard in 2005, and is survived by his three sons, Corley Price Senyard, Jr. (wife Kathleen), William Howard Senyard (wife Eunice), and Thomas Jackson Senyard (wife Shelly). Corley was blessed with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren living across the United States. Corley was a brilliant, creative engineer and a loving family man. In 1951 he graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas and was later certified as a chemical engineer. At the university, he met his first wife, Suzanne. They married, and he joined the Navy right after graduation. After graduating from Officer Candidate School, he was stationed in Hawaii with the rank of Lieutenant JG and served as a Naval navigator during the Korean War. He loved his time in the Navy. He was honorably discharged four years later, and they moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he worked for Exxon until 1981. During this time, he and Suzanne had three sons. All three sons were Eagle Scouts, with Corley as their Assistant Scoutmaster. All three sons became creative engineers, and William eventually becoming a pastor.
Corley provided a creative environment, encouraging his sons to think and apply themselves in unique ways. In 1981 Corley and his sons founded Quad-S Consultants, a high-end, international automation consultancy for the refining and petrochemical industry. The company went through several iterations before it closed its doors over twenty years later. Corley married Mary Lois in 2006 and settled in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, where they lived happily for many years. They were members of Westminster Presbyterian Church PCA, where Corley served as an elder in the church. One of their favorite projects was speaking to small groups on the US Constitution, dressed as George and Martha Washington. Corley continued working on projects right up until his death.
