Clara "Margie" Taylor Miller Olinde

Clara “Margie” Taylor Miller Olinde passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the age of 87. She was a native of Grayson, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Margie was a strong Christian that loved Jesus to the fullest, and was very involved with her church. She was a loving and caring mother that was the perfect guide to her children. She enjoyed, cooking, sewing, nature, and traveling with her husband. Above all else, Margie cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Margie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Eddie Olinde, Jr.; children, Vicky Crochet (Darren), Sonya Bozeman (Jimmy), Darla Miller (Doug Hill), Tina Accardo (Randy), Kathy Scallan (Raymond), Jim Olinde (Marcie), Donna Carmena, and Randy Olinde; grandchildren, Justin Martinez (Lyanna), Jaimee Pentas (Nick), Josh Bozeman (Cara), Jameson Bozeman (Cassie), Jenee’ Hutchinson (Aaron), Kayla Dixon (Barrett), Leah, Jimmy, Melissa, Justin, Jason, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Mia, Alyssa, Schuyler, Miller, Allie, Brooke, Macie, Lexie, Brynn, Leah, Khalie, Nolan, and Emmett; and a host of other extended family members and friends. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara Taylor; first husband, Harry Dale Miller; and brothers, Pete (Mildred) and Dago (Jean) Taylor. The family requests that all who attend wear bright colors in honor of Margie. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
