Charles "Malcolm" Smith is now in heaven. Released from his broken body Monday, January 20, 2014. He was a retired Institutional Food Distributor, former co-owner of Bengal Chef and owner of Smith's Institutional Foods. He was born in Quentin MS but lived in Baton Rouge since he was 12. Malcolm was a hard working man, committed husband to his wife, Louise Sherman Smith, a great father to his sons Gary (and wife Lisa) and Mark (and wife Tutti), and a loving grandfather to his 3 grandsons Garrett, Braxton and Braeden. Malcolm was also a charter member and deacon of Glen Oaks Baptist Church, and later a faithful member of Park Forest Baptist. Visitation Tuesday 5-9 pm at Rabenhorst East and Wednesday 9-11 am. Service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment at Resthaven Garden of Memory. Service conducted by Rev. Marvin Collins.
