Catherine Josephine Wilson "Cathy" Landry

Catherine “Cathy” Josephine Wilson Landry joined her loving husband of 61 years, Norman Landry, Jr, in heaven on April 26, 2021 at the age of 82. She is survived by her daughter, Renee L. Chipman and spouse Kevin; sons, Mark D. Landry and spouse Nathalie, Michael N. Landry and spouse Anne; grandchildren “little frogs”, Nicholas Chipman (Whitney), Ryan Landry (Aimee), Spencer Chipman, Matthew Landry, Kyle Landry(Abby) and Anne Landry; and great-grandchildren, Esther Samsel-Lewis and Sebastian Chipman. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents, George and Ethyl Mae Hammons Wilson; one brother; and four sisters.

Cathy was born and raised in New Orleans, LA before moving to Baton Rouge in 1979. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and belonged to several organizations, including, Inner Wheel, Attic Trash to Treasure Fundraising, and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Organization. She was also a very active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Cathy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 10 am until funeral service at 12 pm.
