Carol Ann Dodge

Carol Ann Ford Dodge passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018, at the age of 82. She was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Carol was the owner of Classic Hair Stylist and multiple businesses for over 40 years and was beloved by her many friends. She loved her family, her career and had a zest for life and adventure. She had a beautiful spirit and heart and was known for her many acts of kindness and generosity. Carol was the loving mother of Lisa Whitaker, Charles Bonaventure and Danell Brice. She was loved by her grandchildren, Travis Bonaventure, Holly Gascon, Aubrey Efferson, Adam Brice, Kayla Bonaventure, Sidney J. Nesom and Justin Levatino. A loving great-grandmother to Dylan, Trent and Aydan Efferson, Carson and Gavin Gascon, Connor and Collins Brice, Kayla’s daughter, Ellie. Survived by her brother, Charles Ford and sister, Doris Jordan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Dodge; Sidney Nesom; grandson, Jack Randall Whitaker; and brother, Huber Ford, Jr. She was the daughter of Willie Mae Gwin and Huber Ford, Sr. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, May 28, 2018, from 10:00AM until the time of memorial service at 12:00PM. Inurnment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
