Betty Revis Taylor

Betty Revis Taylor passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 91. She was a native of Whittier, NC and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She is survived by her children Amy Taylor St. Dizier and husband Paul, Bradford Revis Taylor and wife Karen, and Tracey Taylor Zimmerman and husband Bart; her grandsons Dustin Guillaume and Brad Taylor, II; her step grandchildren Avery St. Dizier, Marcie Johnson and husband Kris, and Emily Richard; her step great-grandchildren Jaxx, Ryker, Beckett and Mikael Johnson and a sister, Shirley Revis Moses. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Taylor, Jr., her parents Amy Bumgarner and Robert Lon Revis, her son, James Taylor, III, her step grandson, Daniel St. Dizier, her brothers, Howard, Paul, Bruce, Kenneth, Johnny, Olen, and Jack Revis, and her sisters, Georgia Revis, Inez Revis Bradsher, and Phoebe Revis Hooper. Since a memorial service was not held for her husband, James Edward Taylor, Jr., at the time of his death, a joint service will be held on Friday, August 11th at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until Services at 11:00 am.
