Matthew 25:21, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” Betty Robinson Leger, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the age of 84. She retired from LSU Cooperative Extension. She was a talented seamstress and a dedicated servant of the Lord. She is survived by her children, James Robinson and wife, Sally, Helene Robinson, Mike Robinson and wife, Anne, Jo Ann Stephens and husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Ashley Robinson Knapps, Micah Robinson and wife, Misty, Bryan Stephens IV and wife, Tiffany, Alicia Stephens, Jessica Stephens, Debbie Lafleur and husband, Darrin, Kirk Soileau, and Mike Soileau and wife, Heidi; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Robinson and Lloyd Joseph Leger; son, Lee Leger; and her parents and sister. Pallbearers will be Micah Robinson, Bryan Stephens IV, Christopher Stephens, Kirk Soileau, Darrin Lafleur, and Jay Farmer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 12 p.m. at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. Psalm 4:8, “I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
