Parish School Board. She enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren. Beryl is preceded in death

by her spouse of 58 years, Gerald A. Newman Sr.; father, Clarence J. Cropper and mother, Annabelle

Collier Cropper; son, Gerald A. Newman Jr.; sister, Anita Beazer (Joe); nephew, Larry Lastrapes, Jr;

granddaughter, Holly Renee Buell. Beryl is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Moore, Stacy LeBlanc, Lisa

Rider; 13 grandchildren, Dusty Buell, Whitney Laubscher, Jake Buell, Chase LeBlanc, Amanda Harris,

Brooke LeBlanc, Nicole Dufrene, Courtney Flinn, Landon Rider, Megan Legg, Hannah Rider, Weston Rider, Levi Rider; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Melanie Sullivan (Charles); brother, Clarence J. Cropper III (Cathy), 2 nieces & 5 nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Carl Luikart. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 10:30 - 12:00pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Interment will immediately follow.
