He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dale Moorehead, Sr. and Evazae Owens, and sister, Barbara Moorehead.
John is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jane Turner; sister, Kathy Reeves; his children, Roxanne Alley, John Dale Moorehead III (and wife, Marci), Janie Bushn, and Kenneth Moorehead, as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
