Brenda Joyce Hibbs Copeland went to her heavenly home July 30, 2014 at the age of 72 after battling with breast cancer. She was born in Elgin, Texas to Beatrice and Oley Hibbs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Elfreda and her brother, Ronnie. Brenda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Copeland, her daughters, Jana Copeland and Wendy Copeland, her son and daughter in-law, Cliff and Becky Copeland. Brenda has six grandchildren, Ashlee, Candi, Cayce, Carley, Wyatt, Haylee and one great granddaughter, Mila.
Memorials may be made to Bastrop Church of Christ and Relay for Life in loving memory of Brenda Copeland.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday August 1, 2014 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop. The Funeral will be 10:00am Saturday, August 2 at Bastrop Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Bateman Cemetery.
