She was born December 29, 1933 to the late Callie Lane and Myrtle Mooney Barbour.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Zollars and husband, Rick, sons, Michael Wood and Mark Cale; grandchildren Hannah Zollars and fiancé, Don Walker, Christopher Wood and fiancé, Emily Martin, Ryan Wood and fiancé, Erin Joyce, Ginny Dixon and husband, Jonathan, and Lauren Cale; great-grandchildren, Dylan Wood, Aidan Wood, Caleb Wood, Noah Dixon, and Addison Dixon.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her sisters Christine Lovell and Kathleen Stowe and brothers, Jesse Lane and James Lane.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. om Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Durrance officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
