Mary M Joyce

Mary Mays Joyce, age 87 formerly of Bassett, VA and a resident of Suffolk, VA died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living, Smithfield, VA. Mary was born on May 12, 1935 in Henry County, VA to the late Thalmer Odell Mays and the late Nannie Dalton Mays. She was employed by Bassett Furniture for many years. She was a member of Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Joyce is survived by one daughter, Brenda Viars and husband John, two brothers; Wayne Mays and wife Judy, Larry Mays and wife Janie, two nieces and three nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with Pastor Kenneth Terry officiating.
