Helen Sides McLaughlin

She was born January 29, 1913 in Kannapolis, NC to George and Hettie Trantham Sides, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bob McLaughlin; two sisters: Nettie Fields and Margaret White and a brother: G.R. Sides.

She is survived by two sisters: Lillian Vaughan of Bassett and Anadel Brady of Greensboro, NC; her nieces and nephews: Sandra and Bernard Denny (who were her caregivers); Cheri and David Steinke; Howard and Betty White; Kimmie and Louise White; Freda Bousman; Walter and Elaine Bousman; Ronnie Vaughan; Terry Brady; Randall and Cheryl Brady and several great and great great nieces and nephews.

Helen was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration better known as The Little Church Around the Corner, located at 1 East 29th Street, New York, NY 10016.

The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev, Ron Kimble officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church in Reidsville, NC.
