Billy Everett Prillaman, 76, of Bassett passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016. He was born in Franklin County on November 28, 1939 to the late John Marshall Prillaman and Nannie Sue Clark Prillaman.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Walter Neal Morris.
He is survived by his wife Opal Bullard Prillaman; sisters, Lucy Rakes, Lolene Moore and Molly Dalton; brothers, Dewey Prillaman, John J. Prillaman and David Wayne Prillaman.
Mr. Prillaman was retired from Nationwide Homes. He was a member of Fort Trial Christian Church where he was a strong supporter of the church, President of the Men’s Club, was on the property committee, served as a Deacon and was also an Elder where he was vice chairman.
The funeral service will be held at Fort Trial Christian Church on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett, VA. Interment will follow at Henry Memorial Park.
