He was born July 25, 1972 in Peoria to William and Jerrylin (Harrold) Barnett.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Family still surviving include his mother, Jerrylin Barnett of Peoria, two sisters: Lynn (Don) Hahn of Peoria, Terilyn Sewell of Peoria, nieces and nephews: Jordyn, Ronnie, Kalidonia, Ryne, Phoebe, and Landon, many faithful friends, and his loving bulldog companion, Vout Stumper.
Bubba was a chef at many restaurants throughout his lifetime, including Lutheran Hillside Village. He enjoyed cooking for family, friends, and everyone he met. He was able to display his talents on television with Master Chef Mark Shoopman.
He loved being outside and saw the beauty in nature surrounding him. Birds, squirrels, and rabbits became his buddies. Nobody will ever look at a sunset, rainbow, or storm rolling in without thinking of Bubba. He paved the way for the sweet neighbor girl, Paisley, to take over his role admiring the outdoors.
July 4th will always make everyone think of him. His love for fireworks and putting on a good show was one of his favorite things in the world.
Bubba overcame so much in his lifetime and was truly an inspiration to many.
He walked through life with fortitude and never let the demons win. Even in his darkest times he made others smile.
Now there is no more pain, only peace.
