Sharon K. Burr

She was born July 3, 1941 in Galesburg, IL to Warren and Mary (Miller) Edds. She married LeRoy Burr on November 6, 1955 in Corinth, MS. He died May 31, 1991 in Peoria.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and step father Lloyd McGownd.

Surviving are her children Michael (Sandy) Burr of Peoria, Richard “Rick” (Dara Noll) Burr of Bartonville, Robert (Sherrill) Burr of Bartonville; one sister Pat (Joe) Ortega of Peoria; one brother Butch (Vicky) McGownd of Peoria; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Sharon was the owner and operator of Garden St. Coffee Shop and Garden Gate Tap. She was also a member of Hiram Walker Rod and Gun Club.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Rev. John Bagley will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
