He was born Sept. 21, 1966 in Peoria to Oran and Mavis (Ellis) Thomas. They preceded him in death along with one brother, Johnny Thomas.
Survivors include one son, Bryan Thomas of Bellevue, two step-sons: Christopher and Christian Roe of Greenbrier, AR, three sisters: Brenda (Ron) Flynn of Bellevue, Sheila (Mike) Ray of Bartonville, and Cheryl (Robert, Jr) Hanerhoff of Gardner, KS. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was a self-employed mechanic, carpenter, and volunteer Fireman in Eva, TN. He was an avid NASCAR and St Louis Cardinals fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with his boys, and watching Bryan play baseball.
Cremation rites have been accorded, there will be a celebration of Ronnie’s life on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Dollar, TN at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind.
