Robert D. Wageman Sr.

Robert D. Wageman Sr. 77, of Hanna City, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 17, 1939 in Peoria to Ruth Kennedy. He married Mary Conn on September 17, 1960 in Kennett, Missouri. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Robert D. Wageman Jr. and Dale Alan (Margie) Wageman both of Hanna City, Illinois; one grandson, Grant (Marie) Cloud; two great granddaughters, Maycee and Paislee Cloud. He has one brother, Sherman Wage of Metamora, Illinois, two sisters Charlene (Don) Appel of Henry, Illinois and Karen Wage of East Peoria, Illinois. He has many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Melvin.

Robert worked for 25 years in the steel mill at Keystone Steel and Wire Company retiring in 1983. He later worked 5 years for the Lantern Courier Service. He was a master mechanic with the talent of fixing anything that needed his attention, especially automobiles. He attended Mt. Olive Missionary Church in Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Mt. Olive Missionary Church in Peoria. Pastor Mark Douras will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Trivoli Cemetery in Trivoli, Illinois. The Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel is handling arrangements.
