Millie was born March 29, 1923 in Aledo, Il to Harold E and Blanche (Benson) Anderson. She married Robert "Bob" Adams on September 1, 1945 at St. Boniface Church in Peoria. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Harold, Lloyd, and Dean; and one daughter-in-law, Sue Adams.
Surviving are her two children, Robert "Mike" Adams of Peoria and Karen (Mike) Onyett of Russellville, AR; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Millie graduated from Woodruff High School in 1941 and worked for many years in the offices of Dr. Carroll and Dr. Newcomer in Bartonville. She and her husband Bob enjoyed many years wintering in Mesa, AZ.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 18, 2021 with visitation from 9:30 am until the start of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
