Michael Keith Taylor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Keith Taylor, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who left us suddenly on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his residence. He was 71 years old.

Mike was born on August 4, 1953 in Peoria to Keith and Phyllis Taylor. He graduated from Limestone High School and went on to serve two years in the United States Marines. After his service he spent his career as a heavy equipment operator for Local 649.

Mike’s greatest joys were his family and friends. Also known as “T” by many of his friends, he enjoyed hanging out, telling stories, and watching sports.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; his sons, John (Kristin), Zach (Jacquie), and Solomon; his stepdaughters; Kim and Jackie; his grandchildren; Gabe, Izabella, Avery, Katarra, Ashton, Anderson, Finnick, Alan, Debra, Faith, Mika, Aiden, one sister, Lorrie, and one brother, Jim.

A funeral mass will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, 2525 S Skyway Rd, Bartonville. Visitation will be Thursday 9 to 11 am at the church prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Burial with Military Honors will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
