Born December 24, 1946 in Peoria to Gail Davis and Emma (Lichtenwald) Ingles; he married Julie Hallstrom on February 20, 1988 in Monterrey, Mexico. She survives of Bartonville.
Also surviving are his children, Elizabeth (Greg) Foster, Shawn (Melissa) Harrison and Travis (Kevin) Bornsheuer; sisters, Judy (the Rev. Tim) Huber and Mary Ann (Jim) Kuchefski and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Kristen Ingles.
John was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam era as a member of the Green Berets. He held a Bachelor’s degree earned from Bradley University.
John retired as a superintendent from Caterpillar, Inc. in 2009 after 38 years of service.
Cremation has been accorded by the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with no services planned at this time.
