He was born on February 16, 1944 in Peoria to Fred and Beverly Houle. He married Dorothy Borra on May 23, 1964 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tracy Jurick; and two brothers, Howard Houle and Kirk Houle.
Surviving is his two sons, James (Sue) Houle of Bartonville and Todd (Chenal) Houle of Bartonville; grandchildren, Jessie Jurick, Jake Jurick, Benjamin James (Kelly) Neal, Chase Houle, Chandler Houle, Zachary Houle, Joshua Houle and Jackson Houle; one brother, Doug (Rosanne) Houle of Texas; and son in law, Steve Jurick of Bartonville.
Jim retired from Caterpillar after 48 years as a millwright. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved the ooutdoors. He also enjoyed his bowling league. Chances are you have seen Jim riding around Bartonville on his bike. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
