Henry William Schuster

Henry was born June 25, 1919 in Limestone Township, the son of John & Hannah (Peters) Schuster. He married Marjorie Marcussen August 14, 1942 in Bartonville. He is survived by his wife of 70 years; three sons, Gary (Betty) of Pekin, Don (Carol) of Monticello, Tom (Heather) of Michigan; six grandchildren, John (Janet) of Washington,Scott (Stephanie) of Germantown Hills, Adrian (Katie) of Michigan, Bradley of St.Thomas, USVI, Hillary (Michael) of Chicago, and Patrick of Michigan; and ten great-grandchildren, Brooke, Brendan, Jake, Aaron, Matthew, Johanna, Henry, Natalie, Zachary, and Madison.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Margaret (Jesse). He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corp for three years at Keesler Field in Biloxi, MS, and Bolling Field in Washington D. C.Henry was a clerk at the Peoria Post Office for 27 years until his retirement in 1978. He was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday January 14, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church and from 5-7 on Sunday January 13, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Pastor Michael Jones will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
