Jerry was born December 4, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the sons of Paul Lee & Helen Ruth Cole Dockery.
He is survived by one son Scott (Monica) Dockery of Peoria; two brothers, Bobby (Cindy) Farmer of Pekin, and Tim (Kim) Farmer of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Morgan Dockery of Peoria, Kyle Dockery of Peoria, Billy Davis of Bartonville, and Rochelle Terrell of Missouri; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Shue, Corey Terrell, and Gloria Terrell; and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Jamie Dockery.
He worked at Caterpillar for thirty years.
Jerry was a member of The Church of Christ in East Peoria. He was a loving father and grandfather who liked to fish, bowl and play golf.
The funeral services will be private. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
