Olga Cortez Marshall

Olga was born February 5, 1950 in San Benito, TX to Fernando and Leonor Cortez. The oldest child of 12, Olga married Edward Lynn Marshall on June 1, 1996 in wellborn, Texas. Olga was a LVN for over 30 years. She loved to help people especially her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed going to estate sales and flea markets. Olga loved to shop, but most of all she loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. She was their #1 Fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband.

Olga is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Pope and Kellie Borja; her stepchildren, Edward Marshall, Jr., Stacey Salaiz, and Tammy Marshall; her grandchildren, Marquis Borja, Iyona Borja, Andre Pope, DeIjiah Loza, Raymond Johnson, Jr., Aaliyah Borja, Elijah Green, and E’Niya Green; her great grandchildren, Marquis Borja , Jr., Saige Caldwell, Layla Loza, Sassi Cabral; her brothers, Fernando Cortez, Jr., Armando Cortez, Daniel Cortez, Noe Cortez, Andrew Cortez, Steven Cortez; her sisters, Amalia Trevino, Irene Gadison, Sophie Rodriguez, Lucia Campos, Raquel Cuellar; and numerous other family members.

A visitation will be held on Friday September 28, 2018 at Goodnight Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10am at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, TX. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
